Criminal Investigations

The Criminal Investigations Division handles the assignment, closure and filing of all cases for all divisions within the Sheriff’s Office. 

The Criminal Investigations Division is supervised by a Captain assisted by a Lieutenant, First Sergeant and two Sergeants.   The First Sergeant oversees the General Assignment and Special Investigations Sergeants as they supervise the day to day operations of the division.  They ensure proper procedures and policies are being followed for investigations, review and assign cases, close cases, track leave and training of personnel, perform various inspections of personnel and equipment, prepare various reports and memos and assist personnel with advice and guidance in their investigations and daily activities. 

The two civilian employees are the Office Manager and Crime Analyst.
