A criminal activity report was recently taken by the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office for an attempted fraud in which a citizen was contacted by an unknown suspect.  The suspect claimed to be a Lieutenant with the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office and claimed to be owed a past due loan amount of $1,800.00.  The citizen received multiple calls from the suspect over several days
